Translated quote from the German source article: “The emphasis will be the circulation/dissemination of AfD talking points on social media“.

With their planned depth of operation at 20 people working for their newsroom and the newsroom running 24/7 (20 people in total, not 20 people present at any given time), the whole thing sounds like a glorified workgroup within the parties PR department.

With the already small budget they have to work with I’d assume it will be an online-only presence (TV frequencies are expensive).

Basically in the future they will switch from only quoting RussiaToday to also quoting their own newsroom when trying to spread worrying news to ‘concerned citizens’.

They are so pathetic in their attempts to play the victim of “the left”. They aren’t doing anything newsworthy, yet they expect to be top news 24/7

There’s no Fox news in Germany?

To be ignored is the best that can hapen to them. Otherwise people realize even faster how retarded they are.

I’m going to start my own newsroom. With blackjack and Hookers. In fact, forget the newsroom …

“Far right” in Germany would be considered centrist or middle right in America

I mean… say what you will but if you believe that freedom of the press is integral to democracy then you have to let insane morons publish reckless nonsense. The answer is to try to educate the population enough to see through this.

So, can any Germans tell me if these people are your run of the mill fox news type crazy people or actual Nazis? Or in short, is it anything to be genuinely concerned with.

The persecution complex of white racists is truly something spectacular.

  13. lol_nope_fuckers February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

Maybe don’t be Nazi’s then, cunts. You want people to pay attention to you, bring something worth attention to the table. Otherwise, fuck off.

Isn’t the far-right group in Germany the nazis? Am I missing something here?

  15. keypuncher February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

This was inevitable – just as it is inevitable that the “far right” there becomes more popular because the current government is both failing to address the concerns of the public and suppressing dissent.

Unfortunately the likely result if this continues, is the ascension to power of a far-right demagogue who the public will support only because he promises to address the problems the current government refuses to.

They should call it the Völkischer BeoWatchter. I’ll show myself out

  17. voordom February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

this reminds me of when t_d said they were going to do the same thing and leave/make their own version of reddit which they then did not do and ended up being a total failure

  18. Mad_Maddin February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

Well it does make sense. Even though everyone with half a brain is able to see how every media just tries to shittalk the AFD no matter what they do.

  19. puzdawg February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

It is! The German media has been complicit in covering up refugee problems. The only time they cover it is when there are protests over what happened. Disgusting.

  20. Shredder13 February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

Take the hint! You’re being ignored for a reason!

  21. Loktharion February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

    Does Germany have propaganda laws?

  22. iceburner2 February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

Good idea to gauge the level of interest of their supporters.

  23. skremnjava February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

Ignored as they should be. Should be the same here with trump’s base, aka, the “forgotten.”

We should really get back to forgetting them. Honestly I’m fine being divided. I don’t want a bunch of nazis (supporters/sympathizers/apologists) on my “side.”

  24. savagedan February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

The far-right in America did the same, its called Fox news and is quite simply propaganda.

  25. Sworn_to_Ganondorf February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

They should apply some chemo before it metastasizes like it has here.

  26. olionajudah February 13, 2018 / 5:34 pm

    Fox “news” Germany.
I’m sure they’re thrilled. What could possibly go wrong
