    This adds to the already long list of:

    * Susan Eisenberg – Wonder Woman
    * Kevin Conroy – Batman
    * Phil LaMarr – Green Lantern/Static
    * Michael Rosenbaum – The Flash
    * Maria Canals Barrera – Hawkgirl
    * Tim Daly – Superman
    * Kin Shriner – Green Arrow
    * Voice Director Andrea Romano
    * Writer J.M. DeMatteis

    We’re trying to bring updates to r/DCAU when available

    Edit: pretty sure it was George Newburn as Superman who expressed interest. Not Tim. One worked on Superman animated and the other on JL/JLU. I get the two mixed up.

    Pretty please comeback with a cherry on top.

    If Young Justice can return from the dead then I have some faith we could see the REAL JL in action again.

    I remember when he said he would quit after Arkham Knight and Killing Joke. I’m not complaining, Mark Hamill’s Joker voice is perfect.

    WB has no problem churning out animated DC movies that nobody asked for. Maybe with enough interest this can get off the ground.

    I was always a fan of this show. I welcome any return. Hell. Maybe we can include a new recruit that never made it to JLU. Like Blue Beetle or Plastic Man.

    “Fun” Fact: The Joker did not appear on Justice League: Unlimited because of “The Batman”. While Justice League: Unlimited was on air, there was also a Batman cartoon named “The Batman” (which was just kinda Batman:TAS except kinda shit). To avoid confusion, Warner Brothers dictated that no Batman characters besides Batman could appear in Justice League: Unlimited. This also effected Teen Titans, Robin was the only Batman character to to appear in that series (although Killer Moth, who is usually a Batman villain, was also allowed to be in Teen Titans for some dumb reason).

    Vandal Savage appeared at one point as a silent background character in JLU, but otherwise no Batman villains. Mark Hamill provided other voices for Unlimited, including Grundy and the Trickster.

    Do it about the Near Apocalypse of 09 that was referenced in Batman Beyond and JLU. It somehow involves Ra’s but you can get the Joker involved somehow. Unfortunately, Clancy Brown’s Luthor had a pretty solid exit via saving the world with the anti-life equation.

    “Mark Hamill becomes the latest”

    I was terrified for a millisecond some accusations had come out about him. Not happy that this is what I think now when these words start a post.

    Mark Hamill is **THE** voice of the joker for me. Growing up watching Batman: The Animated Series was great. I watched it again about a year ago on Amazon Prime and I was shocked at the amount of detail that went into the first few seasons. That show really withstands the test of time.

    This series is one of the most underrated shows of all time. It’s sad that many people can’t take anything animated seriously, but the plots in all of these shows blow away almost all of the DCU movies. The season 1 finale of justice league where they go back to WW2 would be a great movie.

  10. WWABeardo March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Please bring Will Friedle into the mix for Batman Beyond

  11. James__K__Polk March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Justice League and JLU were some of my favorite shows growing up. I’m suprised that DC hasn’t used more concepts and characterization from them when making their movies.

  12. CmenDmen123 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    The days of watching the JLA animated series and just dreaming of seeing a live-action Justice League movie….

  13. xKELDORx March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    honestly….give mark the part of joker in the dc movies and say leto was robin or some thing.

  14. hullabal0o0o0 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I would watch a weekly episode of this. Especially if it wasn’t restrained. You have something like the star wars animated series that gets shown on Disney and it gets a little neutered compared to what it could be.

  15. Vicious-me March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I thought he didn’t want to be the joker anymore

  16. MeatTornado25 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    How many times has he played the Joker “one last time?”

    Not that I’m complaining

  17. Mattbillups19 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I thought you said he is signed on to play the live action Joker :]]]]]

  18. Snogboss March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Animated series… he should also be the live action Joker for the new Batman movie coming out.

  19. barsoapguy March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I want my black green lantern back.

  20. Amazing_Basterd March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    At Denver Comic Con back in July where the whole cast (except Carl Lumbly) did a live reading of parts of Star Crossed they were all like “contact Warner Bros, if it can happen for Young Justice it could happen for us.”

  21. Deadhouse_Gates March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    *Justice League Unlimited* is one of my top 10 favourite TV shows of all time. I’m satisfied with how it ended and don’t want any more of the show unless there’s an absolute guarantee that it’ll still be as good as before.

    I’d welcome a similar animated TV show, though.

  22. Collic001 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I thought Hamill had retired from voicing the Joker because of the strain on his voice? Not that I’m complaining, I’d love him to do more, I just thought the (sadly regrettable) Killing Joke film was the last we were likely to get from him.

  23. ChappieBeGangsta March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    How long until something achievable, and in high demand, gets sold?

  24. AlastarYaboy March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Just have them all be regulars on Young Justice. The team is old enough now the young part doesn’t make a whole lot of sense anyways, and after season 2 they made it seem like the team and the justice league would be working pretty much as one, while still maintaining their own separate autonomy.

  25. WildTimberVikingTwin March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Fuck yes please do as this was the only comic cartoon I really followed. I loved it so much as a child.

  26. blu1996 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I really want this. But In all honesty I’d like them to reboot the continuity a bit. Do a loose adaptation of Flash Point. We already had a great animated film that sticks really close to the book so get weird with it and just use the general premise of The Flash fucking up the time line. My reasoning here is that idk how much you can do with the OG JL without giving more of a clean slate. Batman Beyond and all the different comics that tie in with the DCAU have given us a pretty clear picture of the time line. Tim goes nuts, Joker dies, League members come and go, Bat Girl joins the popo, Bruce quits being Batman, Terry takes up the mantle, Joker Returns, Terry defeats him, goes on adventure, finds out he’s Bruce’s son. Fin.

    Maybe I’m wrong here and admittedly it’s been a while since I’ve watched each show all the way through but giving the cannon a sort of floating time line/loose future could be beneficial from a story perspective. Have the OG Batman Beyond be a possible future. And events from the original unaltered universe could be referenced still. That way they can keep what they want and operate under the idea that a version of certain events may have happened but that can change cause comics/time travel. I don’t really care so long as they tell great stories. More Batman Beyond after the JLU epilogue would be great as well.

  27. Gtim66 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    He’s such a good joker. If you haven’t seen watch him as a bad guy in the original flash TV show. He uses his joker voice and is aweaome!

  28. Bloodnwhine March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I’d rather a new show with some of the old cast and Bruce Timms style. I want Hal Jordon and Barry Allen. And fuck Hawk Girl.

  29. Splub March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I’d love it if it came back full time. So much more they could do.

  30. strugglingtodomybest March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Not to mention all of the fans squeeing at the mere hope this might happen!

  31. 11BloodyShadow11 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Let me guess… as the LAST TIME HE’LL EVER PORTRAY THE JOKER?

  32. taakesinn March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Why? Cuz the animated series of films are actually quite good, where as the blockbuster films suck ass. You heard me. Justice league, post-Nolan batman, Wonder Woman (yes, I went there), Flash and whatever other crap they squeeze through production.

  33. TheRedmanCometh March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    He was really good in TLJ. Like surprisingly good. I hope we see more of him.

  34. lavahot March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    I thought Hammil was done after the Arkham games. Didn’t he say that the role was taking a toll on his pipes? As much as I loves me some Joker, I don’t want Mark to hurt himself.

  35. CoSonfused March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    please don’t suck, please don’t suck, please don’t suck…

  36. Griffdude13 March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Honestly, the DCAU is the animated equivalent of the MCU. I’d love for them to just pick that one up from right where it left off. I don’t even mind a little continuity-breaking.

  37. RiotJavelinDX March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    People: “Mark, please come back on Star Wars, we really need you so we can make it work.”

    Mark: “I really don’t want to.”

    Mark: “People, please bring back the Justice League animation.”

    People: “We’ll see.”

  38. qwbigbrother March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    well since Disney butchered Luke Skywalker, he might as well rally behind his remaining prolific character.

  39. PM_ME_AMAZON_GCs_plz March 14, 2018 / 6:23 pm

    Didn’t he say he was done with being the Joker a long time ago? Looks like he couldn’t resist the $$$
