    It is now a case of when, not if Zuma is going to leave. His impeachment hearing is scheduled for the 22nd of February, which he will lose. If he had agreed to step down quietly I imagine that he’d probably have been able to get away with his crimes, whereas I now believe that Ramaphosa will throw the book at him and rightly so. Zuma at this current time must be working out an exit strategy, but with Mugabe gone his only option is to hope some Gulf state takes pity on him.

    I am an American who’s family is from South Africa (2 siblings + parents + most of extended family were born there, many still live there)

    This is a HUGE deal and a positive step for the country. Props to the ANC (never thought I’d say that…)
