I didn’t see a discussion for Fifty Shades Freed so I thought I would start one. First off, I thought the first movie did a good job establishing the characters and their personas and what exactly was missing in their lives, but I thought the movie failed to really capture what makes Christian and Ana fall in love with each other. It seems like after the first interview where Ana says a couple of words, Christian is obsessed with Ana, but it’s never really clear why. The second movie was okay, but should have done a better job exploring the Mrs. Robinson character. It would have been interesting to see how Christian’s upbringing made him the way he was. This brings us to the third movie. This was is probably the best one. It has the most story, a pretty cool suspenseful plot involving a stalker and a kidnapping attempt and a really sweet ending. Overall, I would give Fifty Shades Freed a 6/10.
