I actually really like the intro to “We are Young” by FUN, but as soon as the chorus starts I lose interest.

  2. Manatee_Soup February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I don’t care for the spoken part of Down With the Sickness, but love the rest of the song. (Not because of the words, it just isn’t as good IMO)

  3. ElHadjiNeuf February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I love Mr Blue Sky but I always turn it off before the instrumental part at the end.

  4. Cybernetic343 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I hate everything about the song Starships except for the “Starships are meant to fly”

  5. atticuslodius February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    Thunder by Imagine Dragons.

Just a young gun with a quick fuse…. sounds like the most awesome line in a song ever.

Then it breaks into Thunder… thu-nder… thunder… gaaaaaaarbage.

  6. june606 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Franz Ferdinand’s ‘Take me out’. I feel there is a real disconnect between two parts of this song It’s like it ends and then a whole new song starts.

  7. chey5 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Group love – Tongue Tied, love the entire song except for that one fucking verse, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

  8. Jay985 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

So no one told you life was gonna be this way *clap clap clap clap*

I always change the song after that part.

  9. MotherVehkingMuatra February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I love the start of Fall Out Boy’s I’ve got all this ringing in my ears and none on my fingers but I don’t like the rest of the song one bit.

  10. LUlSGUSTAVO February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    Time by Pink Floyd

Great song, perfect solo guitar and lyrics, but I always skip the intro.

  11. yanderia February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Nicki Minaj’s verse in Kanye’s “Monster”.

  12. ithoughtyousaidgoat February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Every Pitbull song. I love the bits with Pitbull in but hate all other music in the world.

  13. LordRickonStark February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The ending of bad guy by eminem and the beginning of heart attack by sum 41.

  14. chasm_of_sarcasm February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother. I LOVE the intro, but the rest of the song doesn’t do it for me.

  15. RedwoodHermit February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The beginning of Welcome to the Black Parade.

  16. Hanky461 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

As a bass player the intro to “No Roots” by Alice Merton is catchy af, even if it isn’t particularly complicated/exciting. Rest of the song isn’t bad, but it doesn’t do much for me.

  17. RalfHorris February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    [The Chain](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDG2m5hN1vo) – Fleetwood Mac

Known as “The F1 Tune” to many, the distinctive bassline and guitar solo have been played over the intro to Formula 1 coverage in the UK for years. It starts at 3.00 in the video, and a lot of people don’t know it’s a small part of a full piece of music.

  18. TheHunter497 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    USSR National anthem.

Great intro, but starts getting stale.

    Like bread

  19. Burkarlen February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap

Love most of the song, but hate the part that have been sampled by Jason Derulo for his Whatcha Say…

  20. dorkside10411 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I love the beginning of Eye Of The Tiger, but always skip the song before the actual singing starts. (Unless it’s that video where Jensen Ackles lip-syncs the first verse and chorus. Then I’ll listen.)

  21. Rorochevre February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Money For Nothing – Dire Straits
The beginning is sick but I never listen to the rest of the song.

  22. josenanigans February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I dont like the rap in Empire State of Mind by JayZ and Alicia Keys but Ill be damned if I dont sing the chorus in full force

  23. no_talent_ass_clown February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I love the piano exit to Layla. I mean, Layla itself is great, especially when you remember it was created by Clapton for the woman who was George Harrison’s *wife* at the time (Pattie Boyd, who was also the inspiration for Harrison’s “Something” and later went on to become Eric Clapton’s wife, and was the inspiration for “Wonderful”, but I digress). But the piano exit is simply brilliant. Brilliant.

  24. Extrasherman February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

“A little help from my friends” by the Beatles. The song just doesn’t catch me right until the “Do you believe in a love at first sight?…” part. The mood and the pace of the song changes there and gets me for some reason.

  25. Boomboxbilly February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I like the second half of Pyramids by Frank Ocean more than the first half

  26. icarus14 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The first 30-45 seconds of ‘Bastilles’ “Power” are some of my favourite in music. It’s also my favourite song to rip a popper to, it’s the exact right length of time.

I also fully enjoy the ‘Lumineers’ “Ophelia” but damn that hook is amazing, when they add an extra note or something about halfway through the song, I’ll play back that bit over and over.

And Chance the Rappers ‘same drugs’. The first 1:30 are amazing, I usually rewind it after ‘don’t cha miss the daaaaanger’

  27. Corwin72 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The baseline in the middle of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain.
That part of the song is so much better than the rest of the song.

  28. HEpennypackerNH February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

“This is fuckin awesome” from Thrift Shop.

    ^Oh ^who ^am ^I ^kidding ^that ^song ^is ^great.

  29. Giz_Khalifa February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

G.O.M.D. by J. Cole. The second part of the song just kills the whole vibe for me.

  30. rooshbaboosh February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I really, really like the first 10-15 seconds of When You’re Gone by Avril Lavigne. The strings and then the haunting piano gives me genuine chills. Unfortunately it then becomes an Avril Lavigne song

  31. teninchpianist February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I really love Led Zeppelin’s “Fool in the Rain” except for the weird bridge in the middle where it sounds like you’re walking down the street during Carnival in Brazil.

  32. paulcosmith February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I love the opening of Crazy Train, but the rest is meh at best.

  33. soursurfer February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

My Immortal by Evanescence. When the guitar kicks in it’s pretty powerful but its potency is lost if you just skip over the whole tiresome song.

  34. matty80 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    Maggie May by Rod Stewart.

The guitar intro is really nice; I think it was actually originally written by a completely different songwriter for use in another song. I like it a lot.

Then the song changes completely and Rod starts up with his usual bullshit.

  35. nt96 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I loved Justin Timberlake’s single “Suit & Tie”, but it’s a LOT better without Jay-Z’s verse.

  36. MushroomMan89 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The intro and solos in Through the Fire and the Flames are amazing but everything else is wank.

  37. Razorray21 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Luke’s Wall/War Pigs by Black Sabbath.

I like the song and all, but usually when it comes up on spotify, i skip about half way though to the point where the guitar picks up.

  38. murderofcrows90 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

“They headed down too-oo old El Paso”

    (clap clap clap clap clap)

    Ok I’m done

  39. doctorwhom456 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I love the whole song here, so doesn’t exactly fit. But the first part of Dire Strait’s Money For Nothing is so incredibly good it outshines the entire rest of the song. I often will just turn on the song for the intro.

  40. doublediamondz February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Cardi B and Nicki on Motorsport, the rest of the song is like a boring version of Mask Off.

Also, this is controversial, but I only like the first half of MAAD City.

  41. atximport February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I like the chorus on “Gucci Gang” by Lil Pump. The rest is distracting from the message.

  42. OhkerDokers February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Daffodil Lament by the Cranberries has a beautiful lift towards the end: “I have decided to leave you forever, I have decided to start things from here, Thunder and lightning won’t change what I feel, And the daffodils look lovely today”. The Song goes through dramatic changes over it’s run and I don’t like all of it.

  43. RedLanternScythe February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

2112 by Rush. The intro and Temples of Syrinx are awesome, but I tend to lose interest after that.

For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica. I do enjoy the whole song, but for a song that has the best intro of all time, the code is so lackluster.

  44. Brother_Bishop February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

“Why Can’t This Be Love” by Van Halen is a great song, but I don’t care for the garbage guitar solo section at all.

  45. Sentrup14 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    Chop Suey-System of a Down
There’s a beautiful section when you hear a wonderful voice… Then it just goes back to screaming

  46. theLucror February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Every song with a rap part in the middle

  47. visionistuk February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Burzum – Dunkelheit. Great piano in the middle

  48. Duchebagel February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The beginning solo for “Heavy Metal” from Judas Priest is pretty damn awesome, but what follows is completely anti-climactic. It is like having your dream girl come over and get naked in your bed with you, have you spoon her, and then say that she wont have sex till marriage.

  49. giga_booty February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Fleet Foxes – “The Shrine / An Argument”

It’s on my playlist for work anyway because I like it so much, but I always just skip the second half. A coworker (who has a different taste in music from mine) got irritated at this and asked to hear the rest of the song.

After about 10 seconds into the noisy part, she quietly went up to my phone on the counter and skipped it herself.

  50. multiscrewy February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I will never not sing along to the start of m.A.A.d City by Kendrick Lamar the rest is just meh.

  51. Mukor February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Sorry You’re Not A Winner. I love Enter Shikari a ton, but the end section is just awkward listening and saps a lot of the energy.

  52. Nadodan February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I love “Cruising down the street in my 64′” like those exact lines from the song of the same name, than as soon as Easy E starts talking about slapping bitches the song just goes down hill.

Like the very first lyric has a great rhythm that the rest of the song just doesn’t have. Like it’s good enough I’ll repeat that one line sometimes, but the rest isn’t that great.

  53. phildogg82 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The first half of Kendrick Lamar’s DNA

  54. 0TheG0 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    That Part by Schoolboy Q.

The Kanye part was lit. And it is the only trap song I listen to since I don’t like that kind of music in general.

  55. TheDanimator February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I like the Chorus to Cleaning Out my Closet by Eminem but I am not really into the verses.

  56. One_Evil_Snek February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Black Betty. The first part is great but that second part makes me turn it off almost every time.

  57. Myrrheus February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

First half of The Great Destroyer by Nine Inch Nails

  58. higheyecue February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Wild Horses. For some reason, I can’t get into the “Couldn’t drag me awaayyy” part.

  59. SasukeDidIt February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Most Nicki Minaj features. Not a fan of her but I love her features, more than her songs.

  60. Shepards_Conscience February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

More like songs I like 80% of but don’t like one part. When a song decides it has to do this interlude that sounds entirely different, then return to the song we were just listening to. I hate that.

  61. derper-man February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Take me out Franz Ferdinand. The opening is SOOO good then it just breaks down.

  62. littlemiss1565 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

BYOB by System Of a Down. The chorus is so fucking good and then the verses are just thrash noise. It doesn’t go together!

  63. thunnus February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

American Woman. My favorite part is when the song is over.

  64. d1rtyd0nut February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    #**CRAWWWWWWLING INNNNNN MY SKIIINNNNNNNN**

  65. deisuro February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    Drakes part in versaceby migos

  66. MarinertheRaccoon February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Jackson Brown – Load Out / Stay

I absolutely despise the Stay part, but I don’t know of a version of Load Out without it.

  67. SwirlyCoffeePattern February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Dream Theater – Just Let Me Breathe

The intro part before the vocals is really cool, and has a sick, quick bass riff that I simply adore, but the rest of the song is like a “C+” or “B-” to me, doesn’t even crack their top 100 songs imo.

  68. Killgarth February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Carpenter Bruts “Escape from Midwhich Valley”, the song itself is great for ambiance, but on 1/3 of it is good for busting heads in, still a great song though

  69. semizanudiin February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Nicki Minaj’s Lookin Ass. Second verse is bomb af. She’s spitting fire.

  70. TeddyBallgame95 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

The Weeknd’s “The Party & The Afterparty”
I like the party, but the afterparty is wack

  71. RedditConsciousness February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I like Tool and I know a lot of fans like the song *The Grudge* but really I’m only in it for the verse 3 portion of the song.

*Wear your grudge like a crown. Desperate to control*

*Unable to forgive. And we’re sinking deeper*

*Defining, confining, controlling, and we’re sinking deeper*

  72. FoodChest February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Not a song but I really like the first 3 minutes or so of Tchaikovsky 6.

  73. sonrad10 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I recon that in [ready for it](https://youtu.be/wIft-t-MQuE), the “in the middle of the night” bit could have more potential as part of a different song than the one it was in.

  74. ThatCrazyFangirl9 February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Legally Blonde (not the Remix). I really like it when Emmett joins in. It just makes the song so much stronger compared to when it’s just Elle singing alone.

  75. idoublecross February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

Basically anything by the band “fun.”

    I hate their tempo changes.

  76. GrandMasterBen February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I hate the chorus of Humble. It’s just boring.

  77. bartledoohoney February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

    ‘I’m the one’ DJ Khaled
    Love this line
“When I met her in the club I asked her who she felt
Then she went and put that booty on that Gucci belt”

    Rest is trash

  78. mary-anns-hammocks February 14, 2018 / 10:42 am

I like various parts of Green Day’s Jesus of Suburbia, but the slower parts kind of kill the vibe. The beginning gets me amped every time though.
