r/roastme. I don’t think I could take it. I’ve seen people die in there.

  2. legittem March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

i’m somewhat fine with looking at disturbing images but r/fiftyfifty somehow adds another level to that.

  3. aseriesofnumb3rs March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

AskHistorians. I love reading it but God damn I would never try to post there. Those guys are wicked smart.

  4. Jniuzz March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/bigdickproblems seems like problems i want to vent about 🙁

  5. NorthStarCITs March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/personalfinance makes me feel like I’m broke as hell and everyone else is about to retire at 39 with their F.I.R.E. shit

  6. Catshit-Dogfart March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

    /r/askscience and /r/askhistorians

I don’t think I even have a question smart enough to ask on those subs – I’m not even mad, they’re amazing

  7. Horny_Hipst3r March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

All subreddit simulators give me the creeps. There is uncanny valley about seeing robots imitate humans a little too well.

  8. SolidVirginal March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

/r/justrolledintotheshop. I think I know a fair bit about cars and then I read the comments on that subreddit and realize I know about jack shit.

  9. applepirates March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/knitting and r/crossstitch intimidate me because I do both of those things but I don’t feel like my work is up to par with some of the amazing projects that people post on there!

**edit:** Thanks to everybody encouraging me to go ahead and post! I have submitted to r/crossstitch in the past, and I just took a baby step and asked a question in the ask a knitter thread on r/knitting. 🙂

I’d have to say r/pyongyang. I don’t get it. It this serious, or just a joke sub that presents itself as being serious?

  11. Velikcar March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

    These guys are fucking nuts

  12. ragnarkar March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

Almost everything i post there, no matter how much effort is put in, gets downvoted to 0

  13. Acaedus March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

I’ve never taken a computer apart until recently, and my old laptop was starting to get some issues, and there was an accumulation of dust in my fan. So, I took it apart, and hoooooly fuck I was intimidated as fuck by what I saw. I can’t even imagine trying to build one. I like checking it out here and there, but goddamn, I only undertsand half of what I read…

And I AM a sysadmin. Those folks are just a *lot* more competent than I am. I’m stoked about fucken deployment scripts for idiot dummies and they’re over there solving Wannacry.

  15. cake_fucker_5000 March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/bulletjournal but only because everyone seems to have 500 different types of coloured tape and I don’t even own a working highlighter.

  16. addywoot March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

The makeup and fashion ones. I’m terrible at being a girl.

  17. agreeingstorm9 March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

Honestly /r/guitar. I want to learn but lurking there I see a bunch of people who clearly know what they’re doing and are double-experts at it. I’m not remotely close to even being remotely competent compared to those guys.

  18. Living-Ghost March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/shitpost. One of my posts made it to front page and of course got on there. People were saying how low quality and lazy it was. I of course fear making it to the front page now. It seems like all they do on that sub is complain.

  19. Kevex_The_Dictator March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

    /r/brogress and /r/ladybonersgw

Makes me feel lumpy and ugly. 🙁

  20. TheDweardedOne March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/superwackytictacs. A sub of only shock images superimposed with minions on them. The top post of all time is a butter knife through a dick.

Edit: Other guy was right, I had a dead link. Fixed

Double edit: Was not fixed. Now actually fixed

  21. Fraxle_ March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

    /r/ooer is bloody terrifying

  22. Neefew March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

    r/handholding Warning super NSFW

  23. FerretGalaxii March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

/r/prequelmemes . I still follow it but I don’t post. Wanna know why? the people on there are fucking WIZARDS! GRAND MASTER LEVEL MEMELORDS! I ironically like the Star Wars prequels and I’m into the memes but the people who create OCs on that fucking subreddit are so clever I always find myself feeling bland after a good browsing session.

  24. deHoevoir March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/Changemyview I honestly love being open minded but through a gradual process of education and contextual understanding. Comments targeted directly to change my mind for upvotes or a brainlick would just make me unnecessarily uncertain and I’d end up believing in what I begun with anyway.

  25. Mississippster March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

I subscribe but I don’t want to get in there and post anything that may seem too obvious or asked a 1000 times before.

  26. 80234min March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

I’ve never played Overwatch, but after seeing a ton of /r/overwatch posts, it looks way too complicated for me to play. There’s so much going on! How can anyone concentrate at all? Maybe it’s because I’m a filthy casual.

  27. lasteclipse March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

    I’m not a huge fan of r/fitness.

Seems like everyone there is a gym rat or some sort of bro that wants to share about their latest gains or talk about the best powder. If you’re a newbie who wants to get into the gym/fitness, it’s almost impossible to post a help topic without a mod deleting it. Has it been asked before? Maybe. But with reddit’s awful search function, and with thousands of posts in that sub, who has time to go through it all?

I’m sure there’s a lot of really great people there, but it’s seriously intimidating for someone new to get into that sub. I’m open to changing my perspective though.

  28. s0lidsnack1 March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

Personal finance…everyone’s so smug: “oh help me, reddit…i have $100K and I don’t know what to do! boo hoo!”

  29. 1011010010110 March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

I love animals, I find them cute all kind of pets but some people in that subrreddit are really creepy. (I can explain privately for those wonder)

If you are active at that subreddit and downvote this comment, you probably are one of these people.

The other people are on the other hand quite opposite. They are just nice and cool people.

  30. kn1ghtpr1nce March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/MiniPainting. The people on there are TOO DAMN TALENTED. I try mini painting, I’m mediocre, but some of the stuff on there is just too good for any human to make. (Just go on and sort by top)

  31. jflow2 March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/AskReddit I have never used it and won’t even look at their posts.

  32. obsessivecircle March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/Canada. It’s very politically divided, and there is a ton of complaining. Is that a reflection of my country? Is the place full of shills? Do I like asking questions I already know the answer to?

  33. Tereklover69 March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/iamverysmart, I feel inadequate since I don’t have any knowledge about quantum physics, and I’m unable to quote Ancient Greek scholars in everyday conversations.

  34. Overload175 March 14, 2018 / 5:37 pm

r/applyingtocollege. As someone who’s applying to college, seeing people on the sub lamenting a 1520 SAT score is quite unsettling.
